HISTORY

Palma Sport & Tennis Club, formerly known as Mallorca Tenis Club, was built by the prestigious architect, Francesc Mitjans, who also designed Camp Nou and other landmark buildings of the rationalist architectural movement. From the moment it opened in 1964, it became known as one of the places for aristocrats from all over the world to meet.

Palma Sport & Tennis Club

Palma Sport & Tennis Club, then called Mallorca Tenis, was originally founded in 1964. It was built by the Barcelona native architect Francesc Mitjans, author of the famous Camp Nou football stadium in Barcelona and other significant buildings in Spain. Today, totally refurbished, the club offers its local and international members a high quality range of services, varying from private tennis lessons and pilates to hot yoga, cross training and much more.

The club has 5 clay courts including 1 center court, all lighted for evening play. The center court can seat approximately 1,200 people and is perfectly prepared to hold tournaments. We have the pleasure to host the Legends Cup, an ATP Champions Tour Event that brings together many of the greatest players in history for entertaining tournaments each fall. Welcome to this green oasis located in the middle of Palma accompanied by our friendly and professional staff.
